Zelenskyy says Ukrainian drones hit shadow fleet tankers and Primorsk port
Ukrainian drones struck Russian oil export infrastructure, including the Baltic port of Primorsk, and several tankers, CBS News reports. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said one tanker belonging to Russia's so-called shadow fleet had been hit, along with two more near the entrance to Novorossiysk's Black Sea port. "These tankers were actively used to transport oil. Now they won't," he said. The regional governor confirmed a fire at Primorsk but said there was no oil spill. According to CBS, Primorsk and another Baltic port handle around 40% of Russia's oil exports. Moscow did not immediately respond to the tanker claims.
