Tanker that carried Russian oil to Cuba heads to Kola Bay to load
The tanker Anatoly Kolodkin crossed the Norwegian-Russian maritime boundary on 27 April and headed for Kola Bay to load crude at floating storage units, The Barents Observer reported. The 250-metre ship had delivered oil to Cuba in late March, a cargo Russian authorities called humanitarian aid and the island's first such shipment in three months amid severe fuel shortages. According to the report, the vessel and associated companies, including Sovcomflot, LLC Yuzhny Flot and SKF Arktika, are subject to international sanctions, and the outlet described it as part of the fleet moving sanctioned Russian oil to world markets.
