EU's 20th Russia package adds 46 vessels and new port bans
The EU adopted its 20th sanctions package against Russia, adding 46 vessels to the list of ships barred from EU ports and services and removing 11, the European Commission said. That brings the number of listed vessels to 632. The package bans port access at Murmansk and Tuapse and at Indonesia's Karimun Oil Terminal, prohibits maintenance services for Russian LNG tankers and icebreakers, and requires "no Russia" clauses in EU tanker sales contracts. A full ban on maritime services for Russian crude and oil products was agreed in principle, with timing left for the Council to decide. The package also targets banks and crypto platforms.
