Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on 27 October that three tankers carrying Russian export diesel were at sea and that a fourth, which had not yet sailed, was expected to leave on 28 October, Reuters reports. The Russian agency PRIME says Novak spoke in Moscow on the sidelines of a Gas Exporting Countries Forum summit and said the agreements between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump were being carried out. According to Reuters, Russia planned to supply 300,000 tonnes of diesel to world markets in October and 500,000 tonnes in November, and Novak has said volumes could eventually reach 3 to 3.5 million tonnes a month.
