Russian fighter jet enters Estonian airspace after navy tries to inspect tanker Jaguar
Estonia's navy tried to inspect the tanker Jaguar in its economic zone on 13 May, but the ship ignored an order to anchor and was escorted out of Estonian waters, ERR News reports. That evening a Russian Su-35 fighter violated Estonian airspace. Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said Russia had responded with dangerous aggression by accompanying the shadow fleet tanker with a fighter jet; the defence forces were more cautious about the link. The Gabon-flagged ship, described as unflagged and uninsured, reached Primorsk on 15 May.
