Venezuelan oil exports reach four-year high in October under US licences
Venezuela's oil exports climbed 21% from September to a four-year high in October, averaging 947,387 barrels per day of crude and fuel, Hydrocarbon Processing reports, citing PDVSA documents and shipping data. China remained the main destination at 385,300 bpd. Chevron shipped 280,000 bpd to the United States, its highest since resuming exports, and India took 141,000 bpd in three cargoes, while Cuba received 28,000 bpd. Deliveries to the United States, Europe and India are authorised under US licences held by PDVSA partners and customers including Chevron, Repsol, Eni, Maurel & Prom and Reliance Industries. The rise came despite US sanctions, the report says.
