UK sanctions Rosneft, Lukoil and 44 shadow fleet tankers

The UK sanctioned Russia's two largest oil companies, Rosneft and Lukoil, which together export 3.1 million barrels a day, in what it called its strongest sanctions yet. The 90 designations also cover 44 shadow fleet tankers, four oil terminals in China, India's Nayara Energy, seven LNG carriers and China's Beihai LNG terminal, which the government says has imported cargoes from Arctic LNG 2. Chancellor Rachel Reeves said Russian oil was off the market.
