UK sanctions 20 tankers and firms that crew and manage shadow fleet ships

The UK sanctioned 20 more shadow fleet oil tankers as G7 leaders met, and listed Orion Star Group and Valegro, which it says crew and manage shadow fleet vessels. Two UK residents accused of running shell companies that sent over $120 million of electronics to Russia were also designated. Foreign Secretary David Lammy said the measures showed the UK would systematically dismantle the fleet.
