Russia to extend diesel export ban to end of January with exceptions for world markets, Novak says
Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told journalists on 30 October that a government order was being drafted to extend Russia's ban on diesel exports to the end of January 2027, Interfax reported. According to the agency, he said Russia would keep making specific exceptions for supplies to world markets, as it has done before. Novak put planned diesel exports to world markets at about 2.15 million tonnes in November, against 510,000 tonnes in October, and said policy for early next year would depend on the situation, Interfax reported. He also said diesel was going to the United States in line with contract terms. TASS carried the same remarks on the extension.
