Russian frigate Neustrashimy, which escorted shadow fleet tankers, heads into the Baltic after months off the UK, The Insider reports

The Russian frigate Neustrashimy, which had escorted shadow fleet tankers off the UK for more than three months, has been seen in the Baltic Sea, The Insider reported on 27 October. Citing open-source observers, the outlet says the warship passed through Denmark's Great Belt the previous day with the supply ship Valentin Rykov, which left Baltiysk in mid-October, entered the English Channel on 20 October and then turned back. The Insider says it is not known whether another warship has taken over, and that observers see a possible first break in Russia's constant presence off the UK since spring. It notes that Navy Lookout said the ships may simply be sheltering from a storm.
