Iran's Revolutionary Guards say they seized tanker Ocean Koi in Gulf of Oman

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it had captured the Barbados-registered oil tanker Ocean Koi in the Gulf of Oman, Al Jazeera reports. An IRGC spokesperson claimed the vessel had tried to disrupt Iran's oil exports and national interests. The seizure came as US Central Command said its forces had disabled two Iranian-flagged tankers heading for Iranian ports. CENTCOM commander Admiral Bradley Cooper said US forces remained committed to "full enforcement of the blockade". Al Jazeera also reported that Iran is setting up a body to regulate passage through the Strait of Hormuz, requiring ships to obtain clearance before transiting.
