Chinese heavy-lift ship carries Arctic LNG 2 modules towards Murmansk

The Chinese heavy-lift vessel Wei Xiao Tian Shi is carrying two modules for the third production train of Novatek's sanctioned Arctic LNG 2 project towards Murmansk, gCaptain reports. The 62,074 dwt ship, owned by Hainan Smiling Angel Shipping Company and formerly named Fan Zhou 10, loaded the pipe-rack modules at Wison's Zhoushan yard between 18 and 29 March and was expected to arrive by the end of May. The vessel was not under sanctions at the time of reporting. Two further modules remain at the yard, the article says. TotalEnergies had said in February that work on the train was on hold.
