Ukrainian intelligence names 20 vessels it says keep Russian oil and LNG flowing

Ukraine's Defence Intelligence has published details of 20 ships it says carry Russian oil, oil products and liquefied natural gas or refuel sanctioned tankers, Defense Express reports. All 20 are reportedly under UK or Ukrainian sanctions, and one also faces US restrictions. The agency highlighted three gas carriers. It says Gazprom's floating storage ship Portovyy left the Gulf of Finland on 15 August, its first departure since November 2021, and took LNG via the Northern Sea Route to Beihai in China. According to the agency, Avacha and Chaivo were bought in spring 2026 through Marshall Islands-registered Tudor Maritime, moved to the Russian flag and placed with a new Russian manager, Cryoline Management. Both have carried cargoes to Beihai since August.
