Ukraine says it struck a dozen Russian shadow fleet tankers in two days
Ukraine's drone forces said they attacked twelve tankers belonging to Russia's shadow fleet over two days as the vessels supplied fuel to Crimea, MarineLink reported, citing Reuters. Eight tankers of about 7,000 deadweight tonnes each were said to have been hit in the Sea of Azov, with two more struck later the same day and two the day before. Reuters could not independently verify drone footage released by Ukraine. The drone forces said hitting Russian naval logistics hampers fuel and ammunition supplies to troops in Crimea. Drone commander Robert Brovdi had earlier vowed to cut the peninsula off from Russia through systematic strikes.
