UK sanctions six newly acquired shadow fleet tankers and six Russian banks

In his first major sanctions package, Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband announced 19 designations on 6 August, including six newly acquired shadow fleet tankers the UK says are dodging Western sanctions, six Russian banks and four companies importing tantalum and niobium for military production.
