At least nine small tankers have slipped past the US blockade with Iranian oil or LPG, UANI says

United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) says at least nine small tankers carrying Iranian oil or LPG have breached the US blockade since it was reinstated in July, Fox News reported on 1 November. The group alleges one, Sogl, loaded about 500,000 barrels of LPG at Assaluyeh in late August and escaped on 1 September. UANI says it filmed the ship on 16 September taking on fuel and services at Malaysia's Eastern Outer Port Limits anchorage, after which it discharged at Xinzhou in China. A UANI analyst said such ships switch off AIS and often fly false flags. OFAC sanctioned Sogl on 8 October. Fox News said it had asked CENTCOM for comment.
