Tanker Taurus due at Beaumont on 5 November as US buyers of Russian diesel hold back, Maritime Executive reports

The product tanker Taurus is the closest of seven ships that may be carrying Russian diesel to the US, The Maritime Executive reported on 29 October. It is off the East Coast and heading for Beaumont, Texas, with arrival due on 5 November. Greenpeace's tanker tracker identified the seven, but TankerTrackers.com believes at least two may be carrying UAN fertiliser, a non-sanctioned cargo; the report does not say which. Rapidan Energy Group told clients that potential buyers are meeting "a wall of resistance" over reputation and legal risk. Critics call the imports illegal despite assurances from the US Treasury, the outlet says.
