UK sanctions 30 more shadow fleet tankers and two Russian insurers
The UK sanctioned 30 oil tankers and the Russian insurers Alfastrakhovanie and VSK on 25 November, the Foreign Office said, bringing the number of tankers it has sanctioned to 73. The government says half of the newly listed ships carried more than $4.3 billion of oil and oil products in the previous year. Those named include Belgorod, Delvina, Bratsk, Valour, HS Everett, Krasnoyarsk, Feng Shou and Kelly Grace. The announcement marked the 1,000th day of Russia's full-scale invasion and came as Foreign Secretary David Lammy attended G7 meetings in Italy. Russia's oil revenues are "fuelling the fires of war", Lammy said.
