Houthi missiles hit tanker Pollux carrying Russian crude to India
Houthi forces fired missiles at the Panama-flagged tanker Pollux in the Red Sea, north-west of Yemen's port of Mokha, AFP reports, with at least three of four anti-ship ballistic missiles launched between Friday afternoon and early Saturday aimed at the ship. Lloyd's List says the vessel's description and location match those of the dark fleet tanker Pollux, which Vortexa data show was carrying 680,000 barrels of Russian crude to India. The tanker suffered minor damage and its crew are safe. A Houthi spokesman described it as a British tanker, while AFP says it is Danish-owned. The US State Department said it was able to continue its voyage.
