US sanctions Iranian LPG network, a Chinese terminal and nearly two dozen tankers

The US Treasury sanctioned more than 50 individuals, entities and vessels involved in selling and shipping Iranian oil and liquefied petroleum gas. The action targets a network moving hundreds of millions of dollars of Iranian LPG, nearly two dozen shadow fleet vessels, a crude oil terminal in China and another independent teapot refinery. Treasury said it was the fourth round of sanctions on China-based refineries under the current administration. Secretary Scott Bessent said Treasury was dismantling key parts of Iran's energy export machine.
